BUTTERSIDE COTTAGE HOLIDAY RENTAL
Visit Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales
Location
Our quaint stone cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Burtersett, which is one mile from the bustling town of Hawes – home of the famous Wensleydale creamery and set in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Here you will find country walks in all directions including the three peaks of Pen–y–Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. Malham Cove is a little over half an hours drive as are the waterfalls and caves surrounding Ingleton. Hardraw falls and the Pennine Way Trail are on your doorstep. Garsdale for the Settle to Carlisle railway and the famous Ribbleshead Viaduct are nearby.
Travel down the Ure valley to the famous Aysgarth falls or take the stunning mountain pass of Buttertubs over into Swaledale and the quaint town of Muker. Further along the River Swale are Bolton Castle and the lovely town of Richmond with it‘s castle, water falls and river walks.
Butterside Cottage itself is a homely 2 bed-roomed cottage – ideal for 3 people and your family pet. The lounge has a wood burning stove, smart TV and Wi-Fi and the spacious kitchen is well equipped with built in double oven and dining area. At the rear is a small patio, ideal for enjoying a quiet drink at the end of a long days walking. Oil fired central heating is available for those chilly evenings.
Amazing views can be seen from the main bedroom. The second bedroom has a 4ft bed ideal for 1 adult/child.
Rolling hills, quaint villages, beautiful walks and traditional village pubs are all within easy reach.
